Donna, Debby and I are off to Anchorage, Alaska for a niece's wedding. Ruby Suzanna, the youngest of our brother's three daughters is getting married in a garden wedding on Saturday, July 11, 2009. It is going to be a great celebration with her sisters' coming from New York and Vermont, her Dad from Maui and all three aunties and one uncle from Portland and that is just on her Dad's side of the family. We have been watching the weather closely! When Melody, one of Ruby's sisters was married five years ago in Anchorage-it was 90 degrees. Who would have thought it could get so hot in Alaska? Ruby's wedding day also falls on the big antique show that we do three times a year in Portland. Although I can't say I am missing the mania in getting ready for the big summer show-we are going to miss seeing our dealer and shopper friends a BUNCH!!! We will be ready to do the October show with bells on our feet and dancing in the aisles.
