THE JOY OF ART THROUGH A CHILD'S EYE

Joe from Barn House had Natalies' three children do paintings on old scrap book paper when they were getting ready for the last Barn House Flea Market. When I went into Sparrow on that Saturday-I spied these paintings. This is one of them and when I go to the Tarte Barn this weekend, I will take pictures of the rest and share them. They are all as fabulous as this one is and I got them for a steal-$1each. I will scan them as the paper is pretty fragile so I can use them over and over again. Oh, to be so young and care free in creating these artful images! I will keep these paintings always and will celebrate all that is young, and innocent in them!

Yes! Sam is going to be doing some painting, he is such an amazing artist, I love looking at the details he puts on his drawings, it would be fun to see what he does with a paint brush!

Girls this is so precious! i love, LOVE that you love those drawings! i stood and looked and at them while i was at Tarte last weekend and had no idea they were done by the famous Sparrow flock!

p.s. i also was over at Monticello on friday and saw you booth there. i wanted one of those linen ruffled skirt so bad but it was a little too long. your space there was so recognizable to me! such wonderful things you collect and you treat them like the treasures they are.
