ARE YOUR DUCKS IN A ROW?

The last few months have been a whirlwind helping my daughter prepare for the arrival of her baby!  For months I have been whittling down my collections of treasures that are housed in what Diana and I refer to as the vault.  As summer progressed I realized that my love of all things old and tattered were not really getting that much smaller.  Since I was going to move "Grandma's" baby nursery into my studio I was starting to get a wee bit concerned about how that was going to actually happen.  My daughter asked me on a hot summer day when I was overwhelmed with making the decisions of what stays and what goes, "Mom why don't you just use one of the guest bedrooms for the nursery and keep your studio?"  I am not quite sure why it took me so long to come to that conclusion! Perhaps a senior moment prevented me from realizing that I can have both true loves in my life, a brand new grand baby and a passion for antique things!  So, my ducks are now in a row, the spare bedroom as been
converted into a wonderful baby nursery (furnished of course with some of my favorite antiques, photos to come) and my studio remains the vault filled to the rafters with all things old, tattered and loved!  The photos represent WHAT did not get purged this summer!  Hugs,  Donna, Diana and Debby
