GLITTER, GLITTER, GLITTER

We love German glass glitter! We love how it sparkles! We love how it ages over time and gets such a beautiful patina! We don't love so much how much glitter we tend to get over every surface, nook and cranny from October on! It usually takes us months to finally get the last bit of glitter cleaned up long after the holidays are over. We love German glass glitter- it is a LABOR of LOVE!

I can not believe we have waited until two weeks before the MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS BARN SALE to get serious about getting our act together. I see glitter, packaging, constructing, pasting and who knows what else 24/7 for the next two weeks. Yikes-way to kick off the holiday season with a rush and race to a short finish line. We have always said we work better under pressure-but this timeline might take us over the edge. To work I must go-where are Santas' elves when you need them most?

WOWEE-what a beautiful day at the barn! A great crowd came out to have some fun and shop in the sunny-but chilly temperatures in the Barn. Although Cindy and I did our best girl scout fire building with the [not so planned ahead wood supply], Joe of the infamous BARN HOUSE BOYS-used his cub scout skills to get the fire roaring. Thank You Joe. Also, thank you Joe for helping me haul in the monster cupboard that I had to have at the last show-it looks pretty good in the barn! Cindy, Queen of Tarte, Madame Zadora, and Martha from Vintage Trifles were the hit of the show in their fine costumes and finery!! Thanks to all for helping get the show ready and especially to the ever present Joe from Barn House.
